The “New Bali” program is a government program to develop 10 priority tourism destinations to improve Indonesia’s tourism equity. The development of “New Bali” is also expected to create jobs in 10 priority tourist destinations.
The use of the term “10 New Bali” is more to put pressure so that the performance of each of these tourist destinations is like Bali. As is known, the Island of the Gods in a year can bring about 4 million foreign tourists and from year to year increased significantly.
- Borobudur Temple
Borobudur Temple is situated in a strategic location with a number of mountains like Mount Merapi, Mount Merbabu, Mount Sindoro, Mount Sumbing and Menoreh Mountains. Borobudur Temple is surrounded by two rivers namely Progo and Elo. Besides that, what is unique is the pile of stones that compose the Borobudur Temple created from volcanic beams formed without adhesives. In total, the number of Borobudur reliefs is 2672 out of 1212 decorative reliefs and 1460 story reliefs.
- Belitung Island
Belitung Island is the only producer of Black Satam stone in the world. This stone is formed from the natural process of the reaction of a meteor collision with a layer of earth containing tin millions of years ago. In addition, Belitung Island is also the largest tin-producing island in Indonesia. The island also saves a number of aesthetic beach tourism destinations that are truly international tourist attractions.
- Mount Bromo
One very famous place on Mount Bromo is the peak of B29 Lumajang. On B29, all tourists can climb to the top and find views of Mount Bromo in different ways. The right time to move to B29 is just before sunrise when the color composition shown is very interesting.
- Labuan Bajo
In Labuan Bajo there is Pink Beach which is only 8 in the world. This beach has pink shades from beach sand and blue sea. In addition, there are dozens of tourist destinations that are epic and internationally standard like the Komodo National Plant, Pede Beach, Gorontalo Beach, Batu Cermin Cave, Bidadari Island, Kanawa, Wae Lulu Island, to Puncak Waringin.
- Lake Toba
Lake Toba is a volcanic lake located in North Sumatra and is the largest in Indonesia, even Southeast Asia. The plan, the government will foster Taman Bunga Nusantara in the Lake Toba area at a location of 150-200 hectares so that more and less tourists come to this location.
- Thousand Islands
As the name suggests, the Thousand Islands have hundreds of islands. The islands included in the Jakarta administration district are part of the Thousand Islands National Park (TNKpS). There are four main ecosystems forming the ecological system of the TNKpS area, namely coastal forests, mangrove forests, seagrass beds and coral reefs.
- Mandalika Area
Mandalika is an area in Lombok which is a Special Economic Zone (KEK). Later, Mandalika will be processed to be like Nusa Dua Bali which is strengthened by the existence of various beautiful beaches in Mandalika that are similar to Bali, like Gepuruk Beach, Serenting, Tanjung Beach, to Aan Beach.
- Wakatobi Islands
The beauty of Wakatobi was included in the ITB Berlin’s Largest Tourism Exhibition (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin) which is the largest tourism market followed by many tourism companies in the world. In the waters of the Wakatobi sea, there are at least 5 species of whales that live in it namely Beaked Whale, Pilot Whale, Sperm Whale, Bryde’s Whale and Melonhead Whale. Not only that, Wakatobi also has 6 types of dolfin that live in its waters.
- Tanjung Lesung
Tanjung Lesung region has biological richness thanks to the eruption of Krakatoa which occurred more than a century ago. Scientists from all over the world often come to do research on the volcanic richness of the coast of West Java and its unspoiled surroundings. Tanjung Lesung beach area has an area of 15 hectares that can be explored for various outdoor activities, both paid and free.
- Morotai Region
The land to the bottom of the waters in Morotai reveals a proof of World War II that stores physical buildings and remnants of war equipment that had occurred there. A very popular history is the “Battle of Morotai” which was a war between the United States and Japan. The war finally left a sea and air military base around Daruba, the capital of Morotai district which was built in September 1944.
